FOUNDING PRINCIPLES

From day one our goal has been to provide unsurpassed value in our technical staffing services to both our clients and our employees.  We’ve never wavered from that guiding principle.

In 1992 Anahid Katchian and Walt Logue recognized a shift in the technical employment market.  Many companies wanted the flexibility and responsiveness that contract staffing services promised, but were turned off by the existing providers’ offer of overpriced consultants and/or underpaid contract workers.

Anahid and Walt organized Highland with an eye toward keeping administrative and operational costs the lowest in the industry. Highland operates as a paper-free organization and has online applications for payroll, timesheets, recruiting, customer management, human resources, employee metrics, billing, accounts payable, etc.  As a result of the efficiencies gained, Highland offers the most competitive bill rates to our clients, the most attractive pay to our employees and a flexible, responsive management team.

LOOKING TO THE FUTURE

Highland has grown tremendously since our inception.  We have successfully weathered the 2001 tech downturn and are growing once again. We currently have over 200 employees working for a variety of clients along the Front Range of Colorado and beyond.  Our customers include some of the most widely recognized Fortune 500 companies and a host of local startups with great growth potential.
